<p>I, for one, thank these major corps. by lowering their weapons and accept this obviously better alternative. Use OpenID!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://code.google.com/android/" target="_blank"><img src="http://code.google.com/android/images/android_adc.gif" height="54" width="232" /></a> There&#8217;s been a lot of buzz on the web around Android, Google&#8217;s latest bet on mobile devices. <a href="http://blog.webreakstuff.com/2007/11/android-sdk-is-out/" title="Fred" target="_blank">Some</a> <a href="http://alcides.ideias3.com/blog/177" title="Alcides" target="_blank">think </a>it&#8217;s <a href="http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/11/13/i-for-one-welcome-our-android-overlords/" title="Duncan" target="_blank">great</a>, others <a href="http://scobleizer.com/2007/11/12/google-android-we-want-developers-but/" title="Scobble" target="_blank">not so much</a>.</p>
<p>As for Scobble&#8217;s rant, I don&#8217;t get it. I know this is a tiny response to a huge set of arguments, but: as we&#8217;ve seen before, <a href="http://www.w3.org/TR/XMLHttpRequest/" title="XMLHttpRequest" target="_blank">it&#8217;s not what it is</a> that matters, <a href="http://www.adaptivepath.com/ideas/essays/archives/000385.php" title="AJAX" target="_blank">it&#8217;s what it does</a> (or in this case, will do), for example. And boy, does this platform looks promising. So, I&#8217;d rather wait to see what&#8217;s coming towards us than to take the project down already.</p>
<p>I already downloaded the SDK and had a little bit of fun on the emulator. They provide a nice consistent SDK and also lots of examples as well as their source-code. Maybe I&#8217;ll make some apps for it later.</p>
